Low budget spot for a new energy product.
We shot for a day at a Dallas location house with talent provided by the client. Additional stock footage was purchased and I added some 3D rendered graphics.
How do you make a TV spot with a low budget? Find a free or cheap location. Check for local talent agencies with lower rates than the “big guys”, and think about friends or family that would be appropriate. (If your spot doesn’t have speaking parts, it’s easier to find suitable talent). A quality voiceover is key, but there are affordable sources of voice on line with fast turn and pro technical production. You can purchase “canned” music, but I like to compose the music for many of my spots to fit the edit.
I composed the music in Avid Pro Tools – I really like the music in this spot.
